we have updated to phoenix 2 and it's great, so simple now. great work.
now I have a question about speed. how to setup an emitter emitting with pressure or speed. not only gravity.
is there a way to make this?

by default the emitters are working exactly like this, you have to spend some efforts to make source that works driven by the gravity

The discharge controls the rate of emitting the selected channels, you better check the help page on the Phoenix source, there is a lot of info there: http://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/P213M/PHXSource
