  • Bubbles moving only with the flows motion

I want to have a foam inside a liquid, but not them to move up or down as normal foam affected by size and rising/falling limits i.e. moving only by the advection. Is it possible with PHX native particles? Ive tried to adjust rising/falling limits but I think its just a long shot.

the simple drag particles do exactly this, and they are hundred times faster than the foam. they have no size, so you have to use the size variation option in the foam shader. do not forget to export the id channel, the size variation uses it to assign the same size to the same bubble.

if you want to use the foam particle system, set the rising limit to zero or very small value (not sure what will happen with zero)

Thanks Ivo. I try to go with native particles cause I like the birth mechanism.
