  • Problems emitting liquid Pflow

    Hello Guys.

I'm having problems emitting fluids from particles (Pflow or TP). We're not using the nightly builds but we're using Phoenix 2.2 for max 2014. I assume this should be fairly simple.

    1. Make grid and enable liquid
    2. Make Phx Liquid Src and attach particle event.
    3. Make sure particles have sphere shape with visible geometry.
Hit Sim. and I get NO liquid.
Replace particles with geometry in the Phx Liquid Src and I get liquid.

Please help me understand what I'm missing since this seemed to have worked in version 1.2. I'm fairly new to phoenix so please forgive me. The old method used in the video below doesn't seem to work either.

    Hello,

Is it any better if you change the Source to Inject mode or boost the Discharge? There have been various changes to the sources and I think the particles had a bad default discharge with the official build.

the default parameters of the source are adjusted for solid sources, and when you attach particles (in the official release they can't be solid) you have to set discharge 100 to have observable effect.
