  • drag particles

    hello

are drag particles supported in the newest nightlies? It seems not... in which build are they supported?
or have you any idea how to generate waves on a water surface from bubbles coming from below...?

    best regards

they are supported, but only in the grid based core, in the flip core the liquid itself is made of particles, no need to use drag particles.
about the bubbles, the bubbles itself do not affect the liquid, but if they are produced by source, you can use some additional liquid created by the same source, this technique is used in this video

      thanks ivaylo

can I get the scene (https://vimeo.com/78343279)?
I don't understand how you get this result without getting more water. In my setups the waterlevel is rising if there's an emitter below the waterline...
if I have this my problem seems to be solved, so it's veeeeery important for me.

      thanks for reply.

the boundaries are open, this is the reason.
if you are working in closed volume, that is the most common case, you have to use a force.
