  • Dumb one - velocity multiplier for collision objects driving liquids?

    Heya!

I'm doing loads of blood splats at the minute so I'm filling a volume object as a fluid source on one frame and then running a sword or arrow object through that to make a splash. If I want to art direct the splash a little bit more and make it throw further is it possible to up the velocity multiplier of some of my geometry?

Lots of stupid questions are on the way

    Cheers!

Yup, basically when you up the motion velocity mult on a moving body, it tells the simulator that something is moving through it with a higher velocity than it actually is. Increasing the multiplier on the swords/arrows should do the trick.

Ah - of course I wasn't aware of the right click / phoenix fd properties - cheers!

Ah, yes - the right click menu is something you won't be able to do much without.
