I can't find the isosurface level control in the render options for simulatiing an ocean surface. May I ask why was that removed? I feel like certain parts of my mesh could be nicer if I had the control over that parameter.

the isosurface level is removed only in the liquid simulator, because the flip solver builds a grid representation during the export, and it assumes isosurface level 0.5 to calculate the cell content
you can render the liquid cache files with the fire simulator or vray volume grid, and try to tweak the isosurface level, but i really doubt that you can achieve improvement______________________________________________
