is there a way to make the particles close to a border of the box when using the ocean mode to slow down or fade their motion or something so one can not distinguish the edge of the box against the ocean? I mean if not I would probably have to make the biox around the ship much larger to accomodate for the wakes to not hity the edge, it is very vissible on the render, like if there was something there makign the water to spalsh.. and without anithing to make those wakes to acutally dissipate and become flat water, they can probably go on forever...

Think houdini style:
create emitter, that will inject slower velocities at bordersphx mapper is supposed to do that, tho it kinda weird when works, u have to get used to it
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

there is a built-in system that does exactly this (suppress the waves near the borders), but the disappearing of the wave itself is also visible, you just have to provide large enough container for natural wave fade.
however, here i can see problems that have different root
- the third blue circle seems to point to a real problem, perhaps bug in the mesher, must be reproduced to can say more
- the ellipsoid points to a LOD based problem, the grid just shows more details of the displacement compared to the extension. there are two solutions - increase the ocean subdivisions, or decrease the LOD of the wave texture
about the stamp, well, i'm sure this is a known issue, but is not in phoenix, the vray frame buffer has or had it at some stage______________________________________________
