  • Surface Friction?

    Hi,

I have a pretty large cylindrical model which is going to rise out of the water. It is slightly tapered on the edge like a pencil.

Instead of the splashes shooting diagonally outwards due to the tapered end of the cylinder i would want them to follow the object more directly upwards.

Any good idea of how to get the result i am after?

    Hello,

You can try using the splash drag or reducing the velocity multiplier. You can try adding more steps per frame as well.

      Hi,

      Thanks for the reply!

I tried all of this and still would not give me good enough results, but i ended up trying to use the cylinder as a emitter as well for only 2 frames as it penetrates the water and it seems like its actually working really well
