  • Barrel explosion

    Hi we are still using 2.2 phoenix. we have a large shipping container falling on top of the barrel. We need to have initial explosion then fire. We cannot have barrels as ignition source since they will blow up do you have any idea what's the best way to do it? thank you

    You could use a dummy object (or objects) that is non-renderable and non-solid (you can set this from its right-click Phoenix properties). You can animate its discharge to increase when the explosion is supposed to take place and then turn it down so that there will be residual burning. If I understand you correctly, the barrels will fracture into pieces? Will they burn as well?

      thank you! We just made them disappears since explosion is very big
