Hey everyone,
I have a project where I would like to use a wetmap to transition from one material(s) to another. Simple enough. The hard part is that I need to GROW my wetmap, have it expand until it consumes the whole object's surface. The liquid doesn't cover the whole object and I don't want it to. I just want the wetmap to expand over time.
I considered rendering out a sequence from render-to-texture and expanding that in After Effects, exporting that sequence to use as a mixer, but that would require a singular UV UV with seams in clever locations, very tedious.
Is there a way for me to expand the particles blend radius via particle age? I'm not figuring that out if it's possible with the PFDParticleTexture node.
Is there a way to access these wetmap particles for pflow use? Maybe I could figure out how to grow from there?
Any advice would be very much appreciated! Thanks.
