  • Scene scale

I have a scene that is approx. ten times as big as it should be. Does this mean that i should set the scene scale setting to 0.1 to get correct results?

That's right - you should compensate for a big scene scale with a proportionally smaller simulator scaling

my attempts so far (with Maya). scene scale settings, meters; settings in simulator are meters; boat is modeled in meters (125m); boat travels at 10 knots.
To get a result that starts to look like something, I have to lower the Units Scale parameter to at least 0.1 (I did even 0.05 in my latest test).
If I stay at 1m (what I would call real world), I get a huge wake...

These scene scale parameters are still very confusing... unless I'm doing something definitely wrong.

        cheers
