you see how strange splashes are. how can i fix? naturally they have the grid size. I've tried with point, bubbles and splashes but nothing change. i set only above group instead of all, but it's the same result.
My ocean has a displace, i'd like to have more but i can't lock splashes to displace.
I'm not very expert with phoenix and i've read many post here about ocean without find a solution.
    I need some help

    thanks

I think it's my link of the foam shader

to make splashes follow displace i set even the PG liquid, it's correct?

Cant view the attachment. You point to the actual simulator when linking the PHXfoam object and do not use PG stuff. Leave it hidden and don't touch it

do you mean to leave only link PHXFoam to pg(splashes)? nothing else? How can i make splashes follow the ocean texture displacement?

            Hey,

You can make the particles follow the displacement by connecting the simulator to the 'Liquid Geometry slot in the PHXFoam.

Regarding foam detail, it looks like you use the Foam texture, is that correct? In this case you need to change the pattern length and pattern width - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...oenixFDFoamTex

            Hope this helps

i've noticed there something strange with foam texture. Sometimes changing value seem to not produce any results. Other times, maybe changing other value, randomly, then returning to original values, get some changes. not sure if I've explained well

Hmm, which version of Phoenix do you use? If you are not yet on 3.00.02, can you check if the same happens there as well?

If there is still a problem with 3.00.02, can you share the scene with the problem? You can remove the ship and the rest of the interesting stuff from the scene, as long as the foam texture keeps showing the same issue.

                Thanks!

another problem is very frequent block on the last vray bucket in render. it's strange, randomly frame seems to freeze on last bucket. I f I retry the same frame sometime it will render fine. Any idea?

                      Hi,

You can reduce Pattern length and Pattern width by 10 times for example.

Alright, and I found why the foam texture does not update every time after changing an option - the fix will be in tomorrow's nightly.
