I simulated smoke with too high cell count, and now I struggle with high render times and large .exr-files. (Its a home project, and I need to render deep files)
The only solution seems to be to increase the step% value.
Can I counter artifacts produced by high step% by using the spherical sampler type?
The cell count is 3x as high as it need to be, and the smoke has opacity that is similar to thick fog. Is it safe to increase the step% to 300% without getting visible artifacts?
I have very limited render capacity at home (like most people), so I am just fishing for a reasonable starting number to avoid uneccessary rerendering
