Hi there,
I´m planning on doing a shot with an object breaking through a frozen surface from the water below, with only 3ds Max and Phoenix. Since Phoenix doesn´t have support for rigid body simulation/interaction (YET...as I hope...) like real flow does, I´m trying to think of a way to make this work.
I´m just spitballing a couple of ideas here and would love to get some input:
1. Simulate breaking ice (Pflow with mParticles).
2. Use another event in the Pflow with a cloth setup to simulate a fake water surface (put it a little below the actual water surface, so the fragments don´t float above the real water).
3. Simulate the actual water with Phoenix and add the fragments from step 2 to add natural splashes.
Any other ideas?
