Hi,
imagine someone had like three similar(-ish) simulations (e.g. explosions or staic clouds) which he uses alway in the same pattern. Wouln't it be nice to have them combined into one container?
I was hoping to place my three (or more) finished simulations as I want them in a scene, change some time-offsets, maybe even scale them a bit, then create a new grid around them and just brush the individuals into that bigger all including new grid. This should just read out the small ones and store the selected channels to disk, frame by frame, without simulating anything; the new grid defines the Resolution even if that means .
Is this "just" a cascade-setup (never got warm with that)?
Edit: Boolean-union-grid-snapshot-per-frame-thingy with no simulation at all
