  • Using Phoenix for remeshing?

Hi! I have several liquidlike geometry objects which i would like to glue together. Do you think it might work to use phoenix for remeshing like with Frost? How would you approach that? Thanks! Daniel

    Hi,
currently, phoenix does not support that kind of operation (remeshing). It's already in our wishlist

I was hoping for some dirty workaround like filling my geometry with a phoenix water sim maybe?

but thanks for the reply - good to know it is on the list

if the liquids are made by phoenix, you can export them as textures, combine them by VRayComp texture and mesh them by phoenix setting the result texture in the mesher channel slot.
if they are meshes you can use the vray distance texture to convert them into textures, but my last experience with it was not quite satisfying

          Hi,

you can fill the geometry with right click on it --> Phoenix properties --> Check Initial fill up. You can fill multiple geometries up.
