    Hello all

I haven't used Phoenix FD for a long time. Just upgraded to version 3 and I'm hoping it can do what I need it to.

I need to create a realistic simulation of two worlds colliding. Please see the link

I am guessing this will involve the liquid sim but honestly, I know very little about this, Would somebody be able to offer me any pointers on how to start?

    Many thanks.

I hope you are using Max?

This could be a start for you, will need to animate some values to get the look you want I suspect. It's a simple setup using body force, surface tension and wetting

Scene File (3ds max 2016) and an preview. (its all very basic setup in about 2 minutes )

Thanks, flipbook, that is extremely kind of you. I'll take a look at the scene a bit later. But certainly from the mp4 it's a good start. Yes, I am using Max 2017. All the best.
