  • Crash in the middle of a sim

So Im running at test and at 191 of 300 frames everything crashed hard and I did track it down to the GPU preview and it was too much for my GTX760 as the file just kept crashing the video driver until I turned that off. Anyway what is the proper way to resume or can I without starting again? If I use load and start do I select the first or last cache file? or should I use restore which seems to just start from the beginning again?

    Using 3dsmax 2016 SP3, V-Ray 3.60.02 and Phoenix 3.04.00 Build 170609
    Cheers,

Restore will start from the last cached interval frame (an interval frame is set in output). Hopefully you haven't turned that off Go to the last frame you have and hit restore, it will jump back to the last 'backup point'.

I just found that after extensive searching in the help Docs (was hard to find actually), I didn't know about just going to the last file though, I just went to the end and then went back one frame at a time till it said I can restore from this point. Thanks again.
