Hello,
This is more of a rendering question than a sim question, hope some one can help me.
I am playing with my first ocean test scene, but I rendered the liquid pass first because on its own and even with motion blur turned on I could render it way faster than with all the particles combined.
But now I am not really sure how to properly set up each particle pass to composite back in post. My first idea is to make the liquid and floating object as Vray matte to have proper occluded particles but then the particles inside the liquid wont be at all visible in the render pass.
Also is it possible to render the particles (splash, foam, mist) each as a separate pass or all 3 MUST be in a single pass?
What would be the proper way to render out liquid, splash, foam and mist passes?
Thank you.
