  • My 2D fire is "hollow"

Does anyone know what setting could explain this result (it renders like this too)?

edit: Sorry I should have posted this in "Problems"

if the fire is fuel based, this is normal behavior, do not use fuel based fire in 2d.
another possible reason is bad emissive curve, with a peak at certain temeprature and going to zero for bigger/lower values

Yup, if you could post your volumetric render settings and the cache file content list from the Simulation rollout we'd be able to guess more specifically, but looks like a bad fire curve.

Go to Rendering --> Volumetric Options --> Smoke Opacity and expand the curve's diapason. Should be visible now.
