  • Proper way to cascade liquid

    Hi
Are there any requirements how many grid cells two grids must overlap for cascading liquid? is it normal for two grid meshes not to blend in into one? It looks like you can see the seam. Thank you

    Hey,

The two grids mesh into separate meshes indeed - if you are using a transparent material, this would be quite obvious - it's in our TODO list to fuse both meshes into a single seamless one.

How much you should overlap cascade grids depends most importantly on the velocity of the liquid at the border and the steps per frame - if the velocity is high and the steps are low, then if you don't have enough overlap, the liquid stream will get interrupted, so you'll need to overlap more.

Is there any significant difference in the render if you switch between Mesh and Isosurface mode?
