The visualization of forcefields is really weird now. It´s limited in the initial grid without adaptive growts. And you need to turn off Gpu preview to see it. And the total cells is not showing. Just the initial. Using nightly from 8/8

Indeed, the priority of previews is as follows:
- Mesh preview overrides all other previews.
- GPU preview comes next in priority.
- voxel and particle previews (the force preview is one of the voxel previews) come last.
The grid box as specified in the Grid rollout contains the force preview. This is one difference between the force preview and the rest of the voxel previews. All other voxel previews show content from the loaded cache file, which can have a green box smaller or larger than the original grid box, but in order for the force preview to be able to work without caches, it uses the purple grid which is the one from the Grid rollout.
The info in the Grid rollout shows the initial grid box (the purple box). It also shows the size of the initial grid in world units taking into account the Scene Scale. Once you have simulated some caches and the grid has adapted, etc, you can see the info for the loaded caches in the Simulation rollout's cache info box.
Hope this helps!Svetlin Nikolov, Ex Phoenix team lead
