  • Rendering phx exported from vray4 with vray3

    I have some errors, which prevents particle shader to appear, imho... Exported from max.

    Unknown property "renderAsVolumetric" in object "PhoenixFDLiquid001_SplashesShader@node_158_partic leShader"

    Works fine with vray4 of course, but not for the 3.12 for vray3.

    So, any thoughts, on how to render that with vray3?
    I just can't seem to trust myself
    So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

    Also, liquid node exports all the attributes from plain firesmoke sim

      The exporter is rewritten in V-Ray Next so rendering a scene with V-Ray 3 will not work correctly.
