Same remark here as in your other recent post - without a proper description of the issue, the settings you use, a scene, or how to get the issue starting from a scratch, this post is of no use to us in tracking down what is wrong. If we can't fix it, it is of no use to you as well. Neither it is of any use for anyone reading the thread.
You have claimed many times that you are a Phoenix user for many years, so you should know well enough how to report issues. Here is a link to a very good read on the topic: https://dabarti.com/vfx/importance-o...bug-reporting/Svetlin Nikolov, Ex Phoenix team lead

I agree. It's really frustrating to read these kind of posts. I usually go through all posts here to learn things, find out limitations or just for getting new ideas how to solve problems in certain situations. But you are not helping devs or the community at all.

Hm. Let me show an example, with that "unproper" and "unhelpful" bug reporting:
http://joxi.ru/E2pBbq9u79dEvr
No scene, very small description. I see tons and tons of bugs every day, I use phx for production, well.... trying to use it. I can't send you very detailed scenes (tho I sent one, several month ago, without any success, devs tells you he is busy with other task, so get lost, will be fixed... one day don't know when etc...).
What frustrated in reporting anything at all ? It IS helpful, no matter what anyone think.
P.S. Last year, phx devs never thought of speaking like that, any help, any way of bugreporting (ANY) was good. I can't even imagine, what has happend to 'em. I remember Ivo, with whom we started bug fight, back in 2010... Telling, I'm not helping dev/community - pathetic. Just try yourself. If you read phx changelog - you can see my "not helping". Can I see yours ?I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

If you are reporting something that is either a common user error, or is a known issue that me or the Support guys can quickly recall off the top of our heads - we can answer you because we already know what we are talking about.
But in case it's a new issue that we haven't met before, and it happens when there are e.g. 5 factors and you mention 2, then we have to start experimenting with all options until we hit the issue for hours or days. Doing this means we won't be working on adding new stuff or fixing issues, and not rarely the issue could be a false alert, or is the same as another issue we already know about and is scheduled. We won't know what it is until we've invested this time, and it would take a little extra effort from you so we can be more effective and do more work in less time. If you are not valuing our time, we will focus on what will certainly yield positive effect.
Yes, indeed - every report is always welcome, but please don't vent in the forums by dumping sceenshots without useful information - it doesn't help us, it doesn't help you, nor the readers of the forum. This is the differentiating factor between the forums and support - if the thread benefits the community, it is welcome, but if it's a problem report, please make sure that it is complete by taking the extra effort to explain and help us reproduce it.Svetlin Nikolov, Ex Phoenix team lead

My imho on this:
there always some days, when you are in a bad mood, sometimes, bugs are so annoying, frustrating etc, that you loose you temper. I will upload something to reproduce that, but I think of that original post, as a starting pont, so it will be continued, as soon, as I get smth to show OR you can't reproduce. I also think, that QA guys should be doing smth like this - they should try to reproduce the issue (well, most of the times). When you say "we won't be working on adding new stuff or fixing " - that is normal, because lead dev should not read all the stuff, that are posted here, someone else should be doing that.
P.S. I was doing that for ages, that is my style of reporting - it was fast and efficient. Most of the time When you constantly on tight deadlines, most of the time, there's no time to think, report properly (with dumps, logs, scenes, longread story etc...), so it is a work for two. I do my best at reporting the way I can (just remember that gradual slowdown issue, the amount of logs and all the things generated was huuge).
So. let us live in peace!I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

I just meant, that these kind of posts doesn't help anyone. Didn't meant that you don't help.
I know that you have reported many bugs and those have fixed later on. Thanks for that. I'm using Phoenix almost everyday and reporting my findings when I feel that there is a problem. Not trying to be part of bug hunting competition.Lasse Kilpia
