Nope, started working on other stuff that will have more visible effect. Reproducing using a 250M scene will take some time...

Can we fix that boiling once and for all ?

It's called using a stable branch and moving code to the nightlies when it's testedThis way if we make changes and they break something, these changes won't go into the public nightlies until everything is back working again, and the nightlies will be more stable.

Oh, no. It is the same scene I've attached almost two months ago. I just opened it is and here we go. Same geo boiling. I didn't try that one, with lots of particles and weird foam spikes (post N#27). I remember you told me, I should try newer builds. I did and then I did it today

So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Can you plz tell me, what is not reproducible on your side ? Do you see those dots under the water, where it is in contact with shore geo ? It was always click-and-run, not sure what else should I upload to help you. Maybe a video ?
Btw - that foam disaster and blocky meshing - not reproducible either ?Last edited by Paul Oblomov; 19-03-2019, 01:31 AM.I just can't seem to trust myself

"Do you see those dots under the water, where it is in contact with shore geo" - this is not causing boiling on my side. These are particles filling gaps that appear underwater where the geometry contact it...
http://joxi.net/Dr84NMOfoJODBr - is this the "foam disaster and blocky meshing"? Do I get this with the 265M voxel scene or is the video you posted the result of that scene? What do I have to do in order to reproduce it?Svetlin Nikolov, Ex Phoenix team lead

Well, while strictly it is not boiling, it looks like something is wrong and I see spikes because of those so called gaps. I wonder does anyone want to see strange bumps, where water become thin ?
And about 256m - yes you will get it, as I mentioned earlier, you promised to look at it, that is why I'm asking month later. I think fair enough
P.S. I feel like scenes are attached because they are here to reproduce the bug, so nothing you need to do except pressing start. Sometimes it is not, but most of the times it works like this...
P.P.S. https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...45#post1027345 - I don't feel, like you need any more information, right ? Or something has changed since then?I just can't seem to trust myself
