  • Submit to deadline doesn't work

What should I do ? Manually set path ?

Runtime error: $directory not recognized: $(scene_path)

I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

    Hey,

You need to set an absolute path in the Output settings before submitting the scene.

You can find more information about it here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...outaGUILicense

Also, are you using Phoenix's submitter or Deadline's?

Well, both of 'em not working. I think of creating sysvar with current correct scene output per scene. When submiting lots of scenes - manual output is unrealistic.

Sure, vars are supported, so go ahead.

I wonder, why this check is needed at all? When submitting scene, without copy with job - it is plain max starting without gui. So, it can resolve phx default variable, right? I can't understand the purpose of this check at export time...

Yeah, I see. Wonder how to remove it

                  Try using $(scene_dir) instead.

Still need preprocessing script that chanes output. I've asked dl guys, so maybe they can mod thier scripts, so users wont have to do anything.
