What is causing this dimpling? These appear and disappear quickly, so it makes the sim unusable. 2 days blown. Heeeelp.

Difference between left and right image is that droplet surfing is set to 0 on left (older sim) and set to maximum on right (latest sim). Does droplet surfing cause this? Was under the impression the drops will just bounce along the water and have no effect on the mesh. Or something else?

If this is the splash/mist droplets trying to keep adding/subtracting ('affect liquid' above '0'), is it possible to add a parameter to control 'affect liquid' based on particle age? Meaning if splash particle age is above threshold, don't affect water anymore.

    Hey,

Do you have displacement? If not, maybe it's the surfing. It affects both splash AND liquid particles.

There's no displacement - just the same wave forces I had before in the smooth sim shown on the left. The only change was raising surfing from 0 to 1, and also setting foam patterns from 0 to 1. Guessing foam has no affect on liquid.

Nope, foam is not affecting the liquid mesh in any way, but surfing does. If you can send this scene over, it would be very helpful to make sure this does not strike again.

        Cheers!
