  • Creating cooling water

    Hi

I'm trying to create some cooling water from a sailing ship. But so far I don't have any success . I simply just get some clean water where I need some white , splashing particle, something like you get when you use the pre setup waterfall. Does any of you have an idea of how I get that. I'm fairly new to Phoenix so I don't know my way around all the setting yet

    Thanks Stefan

The last photo is not mine, its only used to show what I need

Ah, you need to enable foam simulation and play with the foam birth threshold as a start.

It is turn on. But I can not change the foam setting because it works with the overall foam from the ship. It looks like it works okay after some 100 frames. I have to reduce the speed of the cooling water to get right look now. One thing that would be nice in future versions would be that each LiquidSrc will have totally independent setting from the ocean. So you can adjust each freely

      thanks Stefan

Oh, I see, you need to have both the dynamics generating foam. This is an interesting idea for the future indeed. Thank you!

You welcome Sevtlin. Is there any way I can raise the amount of water coming from LiquidSrc , not using the Outgoing Velocity variable, so I get more water at a slower speed. Or is that connected to the general grid set up ?
