  • PhoenixFDOceanTex & VrayDisplacementMod

    Hello,

we are trying some new workflow :
a Vray proxy importing an ABC simulated fluid (in mesh view) + a vrayDisplacementMod on it with a phoenixFDOceanTex in slot

At every opening file, we have a popup (cf image) that we need to ignore (scene used in maintenance job for renderfarm, but the job is freezed because of the popup)

Any idea to stop those king of popup ?
    Thanks

    Hey,

If you are running max in interactive mode with gui, it will ppp up. We can add a parameter to disable it, but you will have to grab a latest nightly and deploy it on the machines. Is this okay with you?

Btw, if you are using V-Ray displacement, just 3-4 days ago there was a change in V-Ray's displacement modifier for Max, which is in the V-Ray Next stable nightlies now. It allows Tangent mode to display the Phoenix Ocean texture without clipping it, so it would be necessary for you to update at least V-Ray..
