    Hi,

    I had some artefacts in my renders. I finally discovered that these disappear when I disable the scattering in the Particle shader (point mode).

    Phoenix FD 3.14.00 (May 14 2019) / Maya 2018.6 / Build 4.12.02 (V-Ray Next, update 1.1 official) (1 July 2019)

    hmmm, no, still there. It seems to be the LC from render settings. In pure Brute force, no artefact.

      Does it get better if you disable the Light Cache for the Particle shader? If it's still there, can you send over the scene so we can take a look?

        I tried to disable the light cache from the particle shader but there is no change. I will send you a scene asap.

          Hi, Other scene, same problem.... but a few more tests. There only way to avoid this square/ straight line is to render BF+BF. In test 3, it's hardly noticeable but it's there. Any idea ?

                    Thanks a lot for the scene. Looks like it's the Adaptive dome light that causes the trouble. I've logged it as a bug in our system and will update the thread once we have something.
                    If you disable the adaptive dome light it should render correctly.
