  • Phoenix FD Script Submit "Simulation to Backburner"

    Dear Phoenix FD Community

We often use the script to send simulations via backburner to our local render farm.
In most cases the runtime of the simulation is more than 600 minutes, which is the default setting for "wait to render" in the backburner.
Currently, we need to send the job suspended and edit the time value in the backburner. Then we can activate the job manually.
Is there a way to increase the value from 600 to 6000 minutes?
With the normal renderings we could set this as default.

    Many thanks in advance

Hey, this is indeed a pretty nasty limitation of Backburner. We have not found a way to set this option through script, so the only thing I can advise you would be to submit the simulation suspended and manually increase the timeout from the default 600
