max 2020.2 crashes during simulation

Hey, can you double check it with a latest nightly or with the official 3.14? Unfortunately in order to get useful info from minidump files, they need to be wither from an official build, or from the last 10 days - we don't keep the debug info for older nightlies unfortunately
From the log file it looks like the crash happened outside of any simulation or rendering process, is this correct? Were you doing anything in particular, such as changing frames or connecting textures or materials?Svetlin Nikolov, Ex Phoenix team lead

We have another 3ds max opened that is rendering using GPUs. Not sure if that can be related. Our build is 3.14.01 Nightly, Build ID: 2019062629281

Ah, is there any connection between the two maxes, e.g. one simulates the cache files and the other reads the same caches, or they are completely different scenes? Would turning off the gpu preview on the simulating Max prevent the crash and also, would disabling the Load caches for preview option during simulation make a difference?Svetlin Nikolov, Ex Phoenix team lead
