  • PureOcean Displacement vs SphericalPanorama Stereo

    Hi guys,

    we lose the displacement of the PureOcean when rendering a SphericalPanorama with the VRayStereoHelper. (PHX 3.14, VrayNext 4.30)
    Is this resolved with a newer version of either Vray or Phoenix?

    (I also had to tilt the camera 0.5° down to get any ocean rendered.)

    Kind regards,
    Wolf

    Hey,

    I couldn't reproduce it here. Can you send over the scene? Also, can you check the exact Phoenix version you are using - the Build ID from the About box in the Simulation rollout?

    Thanks a lot!

      Here is the scene...
      wow... my/our ancient PHX-version must have been written on stone-plates... 20190427

      The 2 issues:
      1) Stereohelper = active -> no displacement
      2) Camera rotation 90,0,0 instead of 89,0,0 -> no ocean at all

      Thank you for your time,
      sorry if it is due to very the old version.

        Hey,

        We've reproduced it. Thanks for letting us know about the problem! We will add it as an issue in our system and will update the thread when we have something on that.

        Thank you!
