  • Looping ocean waves

I folks I know this has been asked before but the posts are pretty old and was hoping this feature is now available.

I have just downloaded PheonixFD demo for a very steep learning curve to see if we can use it for a current project with Autodesk!
We need to loop a calm ocean water sim over 5 sec

    Is this possible?
    Thanks for any help.

    Hey,

Yes, you can loop an Ocean texture now: https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...meBendControls

Thank you very much, cant believe it was that easy, I was dreading having to solve this issue. I have managed to connect the PheonixFDOceanTexture onto a poly plane and got it to loop.
      Awesome!
      Full purchase on the way..

          OK first issue.
We have a camera override on when rendering in VRay to add some padding but on rendering the ocean, it appears to blur in these areas.
How do I correct this effect?
          Thanks

You will need to tweak the Off-Screen margin value - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...endering-Ocean
