  • How can i contain this smoke?

    I'm working on a smoke in a bubble effect. When i fill the bubble with smoke it seems fine, none escapes. but when i starts animating down at a slow speed, the smoke begins to escape thorught the top as if theres no geo.

    I have a geo sphere with a shell modifier on it, using an emitter inside that animated out sideways before the bubble starts to fall.

          Hey,

          Smoke is not like liquid particles so if it gets overlapped by a geometry, it will be frozen inside it. The solution is to make absolutely sure you are using motion velocity from the right click phoenix properties of the obstacle, increase the steps per frame and if you can afford to cheat - to boost the motion velocity multiplier.

              Hey,

              As Svetlin has suggested, try to increase the motion velocity effect from the Phoenix properities and make sure you have enough grid resolution, try to increase it a few times.
