Hi all,
I have a scene (max 2018, Phoenix 3) which has become corrupted and consequently trashed the latest increment of the max file during a save.
Autobackup hadn't saved for a few hours for some reason but fortunately I was able to pull a recent version of the scene from the backburner jobs folder. This version of the file was a queued Phoenix sim, so when I re-open the scene and hit render, Phoenix automatically starts running the sim again instead of rendering frames.
I assume I need to disable something in the PFD options or max scene so it isn't considered a sim job to return the file to normal operation when rendering?
If I merge everything from the salvaged file into a clean scene, hitting the render button works as expected. I can go through this new scene and ensure everything is set up correctly again but if there's an easy option to 'un-sim' the salvaged file I'd be very grateful to hear it.
Thanks for any help,
Jon
