  • Dull rendered Foam since VRay 5 Update 1 for 3ds Max

    Hi there,
I've updatet VRay to the new Version, which was released a few Days ago, since then the Rendering of the Foam inside a Mesh of let's say a Water Body doesn't work correctly. The Foam Bubbles are to dark and dull. I only opened a existing Scene, changed nothing and it looks not as expected. It worked with the VRay Version before. The Water is fully transparent. You can see it in the attached Picture. Thank you in Advance. Cheers.

Yess, I'm afraid this is a regression in the new V-Ray. As soon as we have a fix, we'll ping you to grab a latest stable V-Ray nightly. Until then, the only workaround is to revert to the latest official vray before update 1 (I think it was hotfix 2).

        Hey,

This should be fixed in the latest Phoenix nightly builds. Grab one and give it a go

            Hi there,
Ah ok, i searched it in the Text File of the Nightly Builds every Day and couldn't find a Note about it, but that's cool. Thanks, i will try it also.
