Hi,
I have the feeling that Vray is constantly getting slower with PhoenixFD stuff, especially foam/splashes.
Yesterday, I went back to my simulation scenes I did in 2019. At that time, I was rendering with progressive, max 15min, and had even cellular for foam and bubbles for splashes with motion blur. Using a 16 core station.
Loading one of the old scenes, changing nothing, and rendering gave me result that not even 1 pass was made in 15min (with Vray6). Then I made a reset of the render settings. This went a bit better, it did 8 passes in 15min. Using no volume light cache on phoenix shaders made me 22 passes in 15min.
But we are still far away from a usable frame. So, am I wrong to say that Vray is slower with Phoenix rendering ?
