    Hello everyone,

    I have this issue with Phoenix FD. The smoke look boxy, like Lego blocks. I lower the cell size, but still there.
    Please, any idea to solve this?

    Hey, try changing the Sampler Type from the Rendering rollout from Linear to Spherical, and then render again: https://docs.chaos.com/display/PHX4M...moke+Rendering

    Note that if you are looking at the viewport GPU preview, it would always use the Linear sampler so it would be faster, but the render will get smoother.

    Are you using V-Ray, btw?

      Hi Svetlin,

      Thank you for your help, I am re-start my simulation with the spherical sampler.
      I will let you know soon.

      Yes, I am using Vray 6 Hotfix 2, and the Phoenix 5 SDV for 3ds Max 2023.
