Procedurals Match Between Max and Standalone?

Are procedurals like Noise and Cellular supposed to match between Max and Standalone? I thought that had at one point, but they no longer seem to, especially when use in 3d object space for displacement.

Of course VRayPluginTex textures match...

No procedurals like Noise and Cellular won't match - they have always rendered with different seed.
