  • PhoenixFDOceanTex Renders Slightly Differently Between Max and Standalone

Any way to get those two to be the same? This opens up the possibility of comping elements rendered in Max with those rendered in Standalone. Some things are not supported in Standalone, or are buggy. So being able to interchange the renderers would be very helpful.

They look like they are from every so slightly different point sin time (maybe a motion blur offset type of thing, but thee have motion blur off).

    Hey,

Yes, indeed. This is a known issue that is already logged in our system.

Will update the thread when we have something on it.

    Thanks!

OK. It is slight, but up close it makes a big difference and means we have to render everything in either Max or Standalone, and can't mix/comp them.

      Thanks.
