Anyone else experience this effect/issue with OceanTex? It seems to happen consistently with large areas. How do you get rid of the tiling? I'm using vector mode with Corona Render. System units set to cm for architecture.
Could you tell us which are your exact Phoenix and Corona versions? In order to find out the exact Phoenix version you can check the About info window. 3ds Max → Top 3ds Max Phoenix FD Menu → About Phoenix. As for the Corona version, go to Render Setting window → Corona → System → About Chaos Corona/Licensing.
Hi 3dsmax 2024.1 and Corona 10. Phoenix build is 5.20.00, Build ID: 20230706. The problem it seems relates to the 3dsmax noise map. If you use Mix with two OceanTex maps and use a noise map in the mix map channel you get the error. You can see in the image above the two different OceanTex maps arranged by noise map.
We did a quick test here and the results seem correct, so there may be something more specific in your setup. Could you send us a simplified scene where the tiles are visible so we can check what the problem is?
