  • Fireflies when rendering with vray

    Hi,
I thought this was fixed with adaptive lights?
Phoenix fire renders a lot of fireflies.
Setting the fire to "fully visible" in fire opacity helps a bit.
Turning off "visible in reflections" in vray properties solves it, but no reflections...
    Any help?

    Hey,

Can you show us how it looks - which v-ray version are you using?

Is it possible to send us a scene so that we can take a look?

    Thanks!

Any insights? Am I doing something wrong?

I looked at your scene yesterday and I reproduced the problem. Most likely it comes from overbright flames that are being reflected by the glossy surface.
All I can say for now is that the noise threshold is too high.

I need to dig a bit more to try to find what it is exactly and how to work around that. And how to make the scene render correctly with your specific curve.
