  • Foam and zdepth issue

    Hi folks.
I am outputting a zdepth pass with Render as geometry turned on but my bubbles are not solid like in the top part of the image.
    any ideas?

    Hey,

Bubbles that are above the liquid surface will render transparent as they are not fully solid as a regular geometry. This is expected.

If you need them to be fully solid like the first image - maybe you can instance real geometry spheres over the Phoenix particles and render these.

You can use the particle group to create nParticles from a certain particles system and then render it out like spheres - https://docs.chaos.com/display/PHX4M...Particle+Group

    Cheers!

Hey thanks for getting back, I did manage to solve it by only using CPU as I was using a mix of both for my final renders.
