Liquids enabled shows the PhoenixFD Sim Box as filled, even when turned off

Hey everybody,

I clicked on "Enable" under the Liquid rollout and promptly the simulation box seems to fill up with water. I didnt want this to happen and so disabled it again but the sim box looks still like it is filled up and I cannot see the real simulation.
is this a bug?

clicking on this option, some settings are automatically changed, and even if you disable it back, they remain with the new values. one of them is "render as mesh". actually in the last builds it is split into two options - render as mesh and show mesh, for separate preview and rendering.
