  • Giving feedback, The tweaking of the ocean .

The problems for me is getting rid of the clipping, I've tried to scale the simulator bigger,
and worked but suddenly , the clipping happened again.
I am having trouble , I think related to my scene scale, and can't get the foam /splash to show
also don't know How to configure foam on hit properly . increase the value ?
Sorry, I know it is an obsolete question.
I am only having this problem on the Ocean configurations.

decrease the wind speed, the bigger wind speed produces long waves that you can't see from this camera position but they move the vertices at long distances.
in general with the current phoenix version you can't put the camera at distance to the surface comparable with the wave length.
here i'm attaching two images, the only difference between them is the wind speed. the first one is with 10 m/sec the second one is with 3 m/sec
beside the presence of clipping, there are one additional symptom that appears when the above mentioned limitation is violated - the lack of fine details. you can see that the image suffering from clipping shows lack of details as well.
