  • Phoenix 2.1 doesn't work with Vray 3.0 Beta

I am in the Vray 3.0 Beta Program.
Unfortunately Phoenix 2.1 latest version doesn't work with Vray 3.0 Beta for 3ds Max 2014 64 bits.
Just for the record, I tried to reinstall Phoenix , but it is crashing and it is very annoying.
I'll have to uninstall Vray 3.0 beta, isn't that a bit of a cold shower???

Thank you Ivaylo, I am going to uninstall the Beta for while, and reinstall 3.0 whenever it is ready , then.

                Yes Ivaylo, I've installed phoenixFD_adv_21010_max90_vray_3.0_x64.
I can give it another try for the next build, but I rolled back to Vray 2.4 for while.

                    I can't reproduce this with vray_adv_30502_max90_x64_23642 and phoenixFD_adv_21010_max90_vray_30_x64_23642.

Does it happen with the other max versions on your side, for example max 2014, or is it just max 9?

ooops, Sorry Ivaylo my mistake, I apologize for the inconvenience , downloaded the wrong version , I use max 2014.
but guess what, I just downloaded the " phoenixFD_adv_21010_max2014_vray_30_x64", and just installed.
but, I get the same error, Phoenix dlr can't be found.
so my answer is yes it is happening to me with the 2014 version too.

                            Hi,
The name of the exe does not contain the version of the build,
so can you please paste here the names of the zip files for both vray and phoenix builds?
The last number designates the build number and must be the same for both.

Also, are you using max design 2014, or just max 2014?

We tried again to reproduce the error on our side, but no luck so far.

PS: We tried build number 23682 here on two different machines.
