wavelet channel not found

i'm trying to add some detail to my smoke with wavelet resim but it says 'wavelet channel not found'.
smoke, velocity and wavelet is checked in ouput. resim cache input is same as sim output.

what did i forget?

at what point was this broken? i reverted to official 23258, but i'm still getting the error

ok, i can get the wavelet channel by adding a RGB channel as well in output

yes, we have to mention that the wavelet uses the rgb (ex-uvw) channel to keep internal data. i know this sounds strange, and we will change it, but for now is needed.
