Opacity mapped object inside fire - renders as additive

  • Opacity mapped object inside fire - renders as additive

    If I have a geometry with black opacity mapped material inside the fire, it renders as "additive". ...or similar.
    It doesn't matter if I use vray or Max standard material.

    Any ideas?

    Hmm, can't reproduce it here, can you throw a screenshot with your settings+result or a scene?

        The improper blending was due to fog correction that was not supposed to happen in this mode. Workarounds were to use geometry mode rendering or to render with Scanline.

        THe fix will be included in tomorrow's nightly
