  • No Alpha when Simulating Fire

    Hi,
I have noticed that the rendered Images have no Alpha Mask when I'm Simulating only Fire without Smoke. In some cases it would be very useful to have an Alpha Mask. Is there a possibility to get an alpha without Smoke?

    Sincerely,

yes, there is an option "ignore alpha" that is by default enabled. in this case you have to use add operator in compositing.
if you enable the alpha (physically correct mode) the brightness of the fire depends on the alpha, that many users find disturbing and that's why by default there is no alpha.
